SFK Kendall Knights 3 – 0 Allstars (Friendly Match)

The team performance on Wednesday’s friendly match against Allstarts was great. We passed the ball properly, the team scored three goals (Pierre, Melissa and Ian) and we had fun with this friendly game.

Congratulations to the team and check out the top scorers table on the right side of the blog —–>

FTL Strikers 0 – 2 NY Red Bulls!

This past Saturday we went to see the match where our local team the Fort Lauderdale Strikers played against Rafa Marquez, Thierry Henry and the NY Red Bulls. The match between the MLS team and the NASL team was great! It showed that South Florida wishes to have an MLS Team! Nearly 3,000 fans showed up to the free match that with just 24 hour notice.

Kids from the Sport for Kids teams showed up to support the local team and to enjoy a professional soccer match with international soccer superstars like Henry and Marquez! Ian, Guillermo, John Pierre and Daniel where able to meet, high-five and take pictures with players from both teams. They also were chanting, playing the drums and event playing some soccer next to the field when the match was going on! Ask them about their experience on this game, so you can see how fun this is and join us!

With this pics I hope you guys can see how we enjoy and have a great time watching professional soccer live on the field, and we also hope you can join us on the next match which will be on April 9 against Edmonton FC!

Enjoy the pics!

Second Game – SFK 1 – 2 Global

Second game of the season. We played against Global.  Our team had a lack of organization on the first half and made some mistakes that costs us the match. On the second half, the team tried harder to play as we had become doing it, but there was not enough time to tie the game.

Here are the videos of this game.

STANDINGS – 1st Game

Here are the First Game Standings… We need to be on the top three every week!!!! Let’s do this… We Will Be The CHAMPIONS THIS SEASON!

If you’re with me say… GO KNIIIIGHTS!

First Game – SFK 1 – 0 Jogo Bonito

First game of the season. We played against Jogo Bonito, even-though we won, we did not performed at our best.  If we want to be the champions we need to make our best effort, give it our best and fight for each ball. We need to play better as a team and we will work on that during this weeks’ practice.

See you today at practice and here are the videos of the game as well as Melissa’s goal.

The play where we scored starts at Min. 1:32 with a throw in from Julian to Samuel, he passes it to Melissa, she shoots and scores!

Here’s more video footage of the game!

Ian and Coach Armando practicing before the game! Nice Shoot Ian!!!

We’re back

Ok, I know we have not posted the pictures yet, but we will post them soon. I just want to say, I enjoyed a lot this season. Our team did awesome and we were tied on 2nd place with CSO, but in goal difference they won the 2nd place. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a lot our season and it was one of the best seasons so far. Thank you everyone for making this team a great one. We will post the pictures soon.

Stay Tuned,

Coach Armando

Standings / Posiciones

Here are the current standings. Coach Armando’s team is in 3rd place with 10 points and following him is Coach Rafael’s team with 8 points. It seems it will be a very tight competition to keep the team on the first place. Next games are on Saturday December 4th.  Coach Armando’s team will be playing against Jogo Bonito, while Coach Rafael’s team will be playing against CSO.

Let’s keep up the great vibe and the support!

Go Knights!!!!

—————————————

Vamos Knights!!!
